Where were you born and raised? In the most dramatic fashion, I was born in a car on the way to the hospital on the I-280 in San Francisco, CA. Mom and dad brought me home to Millbrae, CA, where I was raised til moving to San Diego after college.
When is your Birth Day? I was born on Friday, October 16th, a day I share with Boss' Day and occasionally, The Sweetest Day. On that day, the world decided my birthday jam would be Christopher Cross's "Best That You Can Do (is fall in love)".
Complete the phrase "Love is..." ...patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13, 4-8
First Impression of Pete: "Handsome, but not for me"
One thing you love about Pete: Under that rough exterior is a giant heart. I feel blessed to be one of the few who have the opportunity to experience that.
Favorite memory you had together: Quiet early mornings or warm summer evenings on the beach with my book and a camera, looking for Pete to catch his next wave.
Favorite memory you hope to have: Exploring the world, growing together and learning new things about each other as each year passes.
What you are looking forward to the most about being married? Sharing this life together with the one God made just for me. And also never having to take out the trash or fix my computer ever again.

Where were you born and raised? Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. College was done on the east coast and work slowly brought me out to the West Coast, eventually moving me further south to San Diego.
When's your Birth Day? So far, June 27th has landed on every day of the week. The number one song on the radio was "Hot Stuff" by Donna Summer - sounds fitting.
Complete the phrase "Love is..." What Ne-Yo sings "I never thought I hear myself say Y'all go ahead I think I'm going to kick it with my girl today. I used to be commander-in-chief for my pimp ship flying high. Till i met this pretty little missile, who shot me out the sky."
First Impression of Rica: Her wonderful smile and her bright eyes. That and she practically out danced me! I wasn't going to let her win that easily.
One thing you love about Rica: A huge, warm heart that's very driven when she's determined. That, and the way she jumps when she's happy.
Favorite memory you had together: There's so many, but the ones that stand out is the multi-day Komodo trip in Indo, and the islands of Hawaii. She's an avid snorkeler and hiker, so sharing those adventures with her are my favorite.
Favorite memory you hope to have: Sounds cliche, but really, all the years we have together from here on out. Not a day goes by that she doesn't makes my day special.
What you are looking forward to the most about being married? I was told there's a trophy, dancing elephants and a gift card that comes to your front door...after the parade is held in your honor.
